Auction result misses estimated price range
In July 2020 a collector was able to acquire the work Missing by Wang Pan-Youn for HKD 56,250.00 (€ 6,162.94). This price was achieved in the auction Modern and Contemporary Art Day Sale at Christies in Hong Kong and was even below the estimate range of HKD 65,000.00 – 120,000.00 set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Wang Pan-Youn achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Lonely Bird in November 2019 with an auction result of HKD 725,000.00 (€ 84,086.58).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im Juli 2020 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Missing von Wang Pan-Youn für HKD 56.250,00 (€ 6.162,94) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Modern and Contemporary Art Day Sale bei Christies in Hong Kong erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von HKD 65.000,00 – 120.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Wang Pan-Youn erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Lonely Bird im November 2019 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 725.000,00 (€ 84.086,58).
