The work Figure by Wang Pan-Youn was auctioned at Christies in Hong Kong in May 2016. The auction ended at the price of HKD 150,000.00 (€ 17,337.22), which exactly corresponded to the upper end of the estimated price range of HKD 80,000.00 – 150,000.00. Admittedly, works by Wang Pan-Youn have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Lonely Bird in November 2019 with an auction result of HKD 725,000.00 (€ 84,086.58).
Zuschlag beim oberen Schätzpreis
Die Arbeit Figure von Wang Pan-Youn kam im Mai 2016 bei Christies in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von HKD 150.000,00 (€ 17.337,22) entsprach exakt dem oberen Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von HKD 80.000,00 – 150.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Wang Pan-Youn auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Lonely Bird im November 2019 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 725.000,00 (€ 84.086,58).
