The work Landscape; & Rainstorm by Wang Pan-Youn was sold in the Asian 20th Century Art (Day Sale) auction at Christies in Hong Kong in November 2011. The »bidding war« ended at HKD 150,000.00 (€ 14,349.96), 50% above the upper estimate. Admittedly, works by Wang Pan-Youn have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Lonely Bird in November 2019 with an auction result of HKD 725,000.00 (€ 84,086.58).

Die Arbeit Landscape; & Rainstorm von Wang Pan-Youn wurde im November 2011 in der Auktion Asian 20th Century Art (Day Sale) bei Christies in Hong Kong versteigert. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von HKD 150.000,00 (€ 14.349,96) und damit 50% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Wang Pan-Youn auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Lonely Bird im November 2019 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 725.000,00 (€ 84.086,58).
