The work Sitting in Solitude by Wang Luo was auctioned at Christies in Hong Kong in May 2008. It achieved a price of HKD 106,250.00 (€ 8,747.19), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 33%. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Wang Luo achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Landscape after Huang Gongwang in November 2011 with an auction result of HKD 7,460,000.00 (€ 713,671.30).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 33 % übertroffen
Die Arbeit Sitting in Solitude von Wang Luo kam im Mai 2008 bei Christies in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von HKD 106.250,00 (€ 8.747,19) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 33%. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Wang Luo erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Landscape after Huang Gongwang im November 2011 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 7.460.000,00 (€ 713.671,30).
