This artwork by Wang Luo achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in Hong Kong in May 2018. In the Fine Chinese Classical Paintings and Calligraphy auction, the work Landscape in Spring sold for HKD 118,750.00 (€ 12,973.97) - well above the upper estimate of HKD 60,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Wang Luo achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Landscape after Huang Gongwang in November 2011 with an auction result of HKD 7,460,000.00 (€ 713,671.30).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 98 % übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Wang Luo erzielte im Mai 2018 bei Christies in Hong Kong einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Fine Chinese Classical Paintings and Calligraphy wurde die Arbeit Landscape in Spring für HKD 118.750,00 (€ 12.973,97) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von HKD 60.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Wang Luo erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Landscape after Huang Gongwang im November 2011 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 7.460.000,00 (€ 713.671,30).
