Upper estimate price exceeded by 42 %.
The work Blue-green Landscapes by Wang Hui was auctioned at Sothebys in Hong Kong in April last year. It achieved a price of HKD 113,400.00 (€ 13,710.89), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 42%. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Wang Hui achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Endless Streams and Mountains in July 2020 with an auction result of HKD 28,925,000.00 (€ 3,169,122.64).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 42 % übertroffen
Die Arbeit Blue-green Landscapes von Wang Hui kam im April letzten Jahres bei Sothebys in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von HKD 113.400,00 (€ 13.710,89) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 42%. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Wang Hui erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Endless Streams and Mountains im Juli 2020 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 28.925.000,00 (€ 3.169.122,64).
