Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Chairs In The Mirror by Wang Huaiqing was auctioned at Sothebys in Hong Kong in April 2016. The price achieved of HKD 10,280,000.00 (€ 1,158,195.96) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 8,000,000.00 – 12,000,000.00. Admittedly, works by Wang Huaiqing have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Traces Of Nature – 4 (Triptych) (Painted In 2004) in April this year with an auction result of HKD 8,925,000.00 (€ 9,114,171.20).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Chairs In The Mirror von Wang Huaiqing kam im April 2016 bei Sothebys in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 10.280.000,00 (€ 1.158.195,96) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 8.000.000,00 – 12.000.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Wang Huaiqing auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Traces Of Nature – 4 (Triptych) (Painted In 2004) im April diesen Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 8.925.000,00 (€ 9.114.171,20).
