In April 2021 Sothebys in Hong Kong held the auction Fine Chinese Paintings, which included the work Poem In Zhuanshu by Wang Fu'An. The »bidding war« ended at HKD 100,800.00 (€ 10,792.22), 26% above the upper estimate. Admittedly, works by Wang Fu'An have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Calligraphy Couplet In Zhuanshu in April 2016 with an auction result of HKD 812,500.00 (€ 91,540.29).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 26 % übertroffen
Im April 2021 führte Sothebys in Hong Kong die Auktion Fine Chinese Paintings durch, in der auch die Arbeit Poem In Zhuanshu von Wang Fu'An zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von HKD 100.800,00 (€ 10.792,22) und damit 26% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Wang Fu'An auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Calligraphy Couplet In Zhuanshu im April 2016 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 812.500,00 (€ 91.540,29).
