Auction result well in line with expectations
In November last year Bonhams in Hong Kong held the auction Fine Chinese Paintings, which included the work Calligraphy Couplet in Seal Script by Wang Fu'An. The price achieved of HKD 44,625.00 (€ 5,537.60) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 30,000.00 – 50,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Wang Fu'An achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Calligraphy Couplet In Zhuanshu in April 2016 with an auction result of HKD 812,500.00 (€ 91,540.29).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im November letzten Jahres führte Bonhams in Hong Kong die Auktion Fine Chinese Paintings durch, in der auch die Arbeit Calligraphy Couplet in Seal Script von Wang Fu'An zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 44.625,00 (€ 5.537,60) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 30.000,00 – 50.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Wang Fu'An erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Calligraphy Couplet In Zhuanshu im April 2016 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 812.500,00 (€ 91.540,29).
