Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Calligraphy Couplet in Zhuanshu by Wang Fu'An was auctioned at Sothebys in Hong Kong in October 2021. The price achieved of HKD 94,500.00 (€ 10,511.82) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 80,000.00 – 120,000.00. Admittedly, works by Wang Fu'An have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Calligraphy Couplet In Zhuanshu in April 2016 with an auction result of HKD 812,500.00 (€ 91,540.29).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Calligraphy Couplet in Zhuanshu von Wang Fu'An kam im Oktober 2021 bei Sothebys in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 94.500,00 (€ 10.511,82) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 80.000,00 – 120.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Wang Fu'An auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Calligraphy Couplet In Zhuanshu im April 2016 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 812.500,00 (€ 91.540,29).
