Auction result well in line with expectations
In December 2021 Bonhams held the auction Chinese PaintingsThe Online Sale, which included the work Calligraphy Couplet in Seal Script by Wang Fu'An. The price achieved of HKD 25,500.00 (€ 2,888.41) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 20,000.00 – 30,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Wang Fu'An achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Calligraphy Couplet In Zhuanshu in April 2016 with an auction result of HKD 812,500.00 (€ 91,540.29).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Dezember 2021 führte Bonhams die Auktion Chinese PaintingsThe Online Sale durch, in der auch die Arbeit Calligraphy Couplet in Seal Script von Wang Fu'An zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 25.500,00 (€ 2.888,41) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 20.000,00 – 30.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Wang Fu'An erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Calligraphy Couplet In Zhuanshu im April 2016 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 812.500,00 (€ 91.540,29).
