This artwork by Wang Fu'An achieved an unexpectedly high price at Bonhams in Hong Kong in June 2021. In the Chinese Paintings Online auction, the work Calligraphy Couplet In Seal Script sold for HKD 70,125.00 (€ 7,617.39) - well above the upper estimate of HKD 30,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Wang Fu'An achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Calligraphy Couplet In Zhuanshu in April 2016 with an auction result of HKD 812,500.00 (€ 91,540.29).
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Wang Fu'An erzielte im Juni 2021 bei Bonhams in Hong Kong einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Chinese Paintings Online wurde die Arbeit Calligraphy Couplet In Seal Script für HKD 70.125,00 (€ 7.617,39) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von HKD 30.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Wang Fu'An erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Calligraphy Couplet In Zhuanshu im April 2016 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 812.500,00 (€ 91.540,29).
