A top price for Wan Jinsheng - as previously expected
The work Xiongyue City(Painted In 1980) by Wan Jinsheng was auctioned at China Guardian in Hong Kong in October 2019. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of HKD 80,000.00 – 150,000.00, the actual price achieved of HKD 94,400.00 (€ 10,789.78) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Even if this result could not surprise positively, Xiongyue City(Painted In 1980) is the most expensive artwork by Wan Jinsheng that we have observed at auctions so far.
Ein Spitzenpreis mit Ansage
Die Arbeit Xiongyue City(Painted In 1980) von Wan Jinsheng kam im Oktober 2019 bei China Guardian in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von HKD 80.000,00 – 150.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von HKD 94.400,00 (€ 10.789,78) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Auch wenn das Ergebnis damit nicht positiv überraschen konnte, ist Xiongyue City(Painted In 1980) das teuerste Kunstwerk von Wan Jinsheng, das wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachtet haben.
