In July 2010 Christies in London held the auction Living with Design: The Collections of Walter Lees and Mr NC., which included the work Unknown by Walter Lees. The »bidding war« ended at GBP 1,000.00 (€ 1,202.39), 25% above the upper estimate. With this result, Unknown is even the most expensive work of art by Walter Lees that we have observed at auctions so far.

Im Juli 2010 führte Christies in London die Auktion Living with Design: The Collections of Walter Lees and Mr NC. durch, in der auch die Arbeit Unknown von Walter Lees zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von GBP 1.000,00 (€ 1.202,39) und damit 25% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Mit diesem Ergebnis ist Unknown sogar das teuerste Kunstwerk von Walter Lees, das wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachtet haben.
