This artwork by Walter Koch achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in London in November 2018. In the Annabel's auction, the work Davos sold for GBP 6,250.00 (€ 7,049.81) - well above the upper estimate of GBP 2,500.00. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Walter Koch; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot Davos sold at auction in January 2016 with the realized price of GBP 10,000.00 (€ 13,094.53).
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Walter Koch erzielte im November 2018 bei Christies in London einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Annabel's wurde die Arbeit Davos für GBP 6.250,00 (€ 7.049,81) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von GBP 2.500,00. Trotz des guten Ergebnisses ist dies nicht der höchste Zuschlag für ein Kunstwerk von Walter Koch; den erzielte unter den von uns beobachteten Auktionen die Arbeit Davos im Januar 2016 mit dem Hammerpreis von GBP 10.000,00 (€ 13.094,53).
