Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von USD 26.250,00 (€ 19.842,77) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 31%. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Walter Hunt auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit The Highland Hearth im Dezember 2009 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 79.250,00 (€ 89.396,79).
