Auction result well in line with expectations

The price achieved of GBP 8,320.00 (€ 9,641.07) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 7,000.00 – 9,000.00. Admittedly, works by Walter Hunt have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work The Highland Hearth in December 2009 with an auction result of GBP 79,250.00 (€ 89,396.79).

Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 8.320,00 (€ 9.641,07) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 7.000,00 – 9.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Walter Hunt auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit The Highland Hearth im Dezember 2009 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 79.250,00 (€ 89.396,79).
