The work Sans titre by Wade Guyton was auctioned at Christies in London in October this year. It achieved a price of EUR 189,000.00 exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 26 %. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Wade Guyton achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work without title in May 2014 with an auction result of USD 5,989,000.00 (€ 4,390,762.46).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 26 % übertroffen
Die Arbeit Sans titre von Wade Guyton kam im Oktober diesen Jahres bei Christies in London zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von EUR 189.000,00 und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 26 %. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Wade Guyton erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit ohne Titel im Mai 2014 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 5.989.000,00 (€ 4.390.762,46).
