A top price for William Steve Seltzer
In April last year Bonhams in Los Angeles held the auction Western Art, which included the work In the Shadow of Square Butte by William Steve Seltzer. The »bidding war« ended at USD 3,570.00 (€ 3,388.06), 19% above the upper estimate. With this result, In the Shadow of Square Butte is even the most expensive work of art by William Steve Seltzer that we have observed at auctions so far.
