Auction result well in line with expectations
The work The raising of Lazarus by Vyacheslav Kalinin was auctioned at Christies in London in November 2007. The price achieved of GBP 24,500.00 (€ 34,306.34) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 20,000.00 – 30,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Vyacheslav Kalinin - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Self-portrait with hang-glider, which sold at auction in November 2007 for GBP 54,500.00 (€ 76,314.10).

Die Arbeit The raising of Lazarus von Vyacheslav Kalinin kam im November 2007 bei Christies in London zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 24.500,00 (€ 34.306,34) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 20.000,00 – 30.000,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Vyacheslav Kalinin mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Self-portrait with hang-glider beobachtet, die im November 2007 für GBP 54.500,00 (€ 76.314,10) versteigert wurde.
