Auction result well in line with expectations
The work The roulette players by Vyacheslav Kalinin was auctioned at Christies in London in November 2011. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of GBP 2,000.00 – 3,000.00, the actual price achieved of GBP 2,250.00 (€ 2,626.64) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Vyacheslav Kalinin achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Self-portrait with hang-glider in November 2007 with an auction result of GBP 54,500.00 (€ 76,314.10).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit The roulette players von Vyacheslav Kalinin kam im November 2011 bei Christies in London zur Auktion. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von GBP 2.000,00 – 3.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von GBP 2.250,00 (€ 2.626,64) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Vyacheslav Kalinin erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Self-portrait with hang-glider im November 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 54.500,00 (€ 76.314,10).
