This artwork by Vyacheslav Kalinin achieved an unexpectedly high price at Sothebys in Olympia in June 2007. In the Russian Pictures, Works of Art and Icons auction, the work Artist And Nude Model sold for GBP 14,400.00 (€ 21,368.88) - well above the upper estimate of GBP 7,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Vyacheslav Kalinin - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Self-portrait with hang-glider, which sold at auction in November 2007 for GBP 54,500.00 (€ 76,314.10).

Dieses Kunstwerk von Vyacheslav Kalinin erzielte im Juni 2007 bei Sothebys in Olympia einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Russian Pictures, Works of Art and Icons wurde die Arbeit Artist And Nude Model für GBP 14.400,00 (€ 21.368,88) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von GBP 7.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Vyacheslav Kalinin mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Self-portrait with hang-glider beobachtet, die im November 2007 für GBP 54.500,00 (€ 76.314,10) versteigert wurde.
