Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In June 2007 Sothebys in Olympia held the auction Russian Pictures, Works of Art and Icons, which included the work Ulitsa Brodskogo by Vyacheslav Ovchinnikov. Here, the upper estimate of GBP 4,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for GBP 4,200.00 (€ 6,232.59). However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Vyacheslav Ovchinnikov - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Ulitsa Brodskogo, which sold at auction in June 2008 for GBP 10,625.00 (€ 13,430.36).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im Juni 2007 führte Sothebys in Olympia die Auktion Russian Pictures, Works of Art and Icons durch, in der auch die Arbeit Ulitsa Brodskogo von Vyacheslav Ovchinnikov zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von GBP 4.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für GBP 4.200,00 (€ 6.232,59) einen neuen Besitzer. Für andere Arbeiten von Vyacheslav Ovchinnikov mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Ulitsa Brodskogo beobachtet, die im Juni 2008 für GBP 10.625,00 (€ 13.430,36) versteigert wurde.
