A top price for Volkmar Wentzel - as previously expected

It changed hands for a price of USD 5,625.00 (€ 4,265.89) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of USD 4,000.00 – 6,000.00. Even if this result could not surprise positively, Atlantic City, NJ, 1958 is the most expensive artwork by Volkmar Wentzel that we have observed at auctions so far.
