Auction result well in line with expectations
This work without title by Volker Tannert was auctioned at Christies in New York in August 2018. The price achieved of USD 2,000.00 (€ 1,724.73) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 1,500.00 – 2,500.00. Admittedly, works by Volker Tannert have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Ohne Titel (Unsere Wünsche wollen Kathedralen bauen) in November 2015 with an auction result of EUR 13,640.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Volker Tannert kam im August 2018 bei Christies in New York zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 2.000,00 (€ 1.724,73) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 1.500,00 – 2.500,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Volker Tannert auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Ohne Titel (Unsere Wünsche wollen Kathedralen bauen) im November 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 13.640,00.
