In September 2021 Sothebys in London held the auction Escape Artists – The Non-Conformists Online, which included the work Train 2, from the City Series by Vladimir Yankilevsky. The »bidding war« ended at GBP 10,710.00 (€ 12,461.23), 34% above the upper estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Vladimir Yankilevsky achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Tryptich N10 in April 2010 with an auction result of GBP 133,250.00 (€ 153,344.69).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 34 % übertroffen
Im September 2021 führte Sothebys in London die Auktion Escape Artists – The Non-Conformists Online durch, in der auch die Arbeit Train 2, from the City Series von Vladimir Yankilevsky zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von GBP 10.710,00 (€ 12.461,23) und damit 34% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Vladimir Yankilevsky erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Tryptich N10 im April 2010 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 133.250,00 (€ 153.344,69).
