Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Take a Train… IV by Vladimir Yankilevsky was sold in the Post-War and Contemporary Russian Art from a Private Collection auction at Sothebys in London in December 2021. The price achieved of GBP 100,800.00 (€ 120,233.26) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 80,000.00 – 120,000.00. Other works by Vladimir Yankilevsky have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in April 2010 the work Tryptich N10 was auctioned for GBP 133,250.00 (€ 153,344.69).
