Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Exit - Fig. XIX by Vladimir Velickovic was sold in the Art Contemporain Vente du Jour auction at Christies in Paris in June 2016. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of EUR 10,000.00 – 1,500,000.00, the actual price achieved of EUR 12,500.00 could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Admittedly, works by Vladimir Velickovic have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Pad II (Chute n° 2) in June last year with an auction result of EUR 63,375.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Exit - Fig. XIX von Vladimir Velickovic wurde im Juni 2016 in der Auktion Art Contemporain Vente du Jour bei Christies in Paris versteigert. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von EUR 10.000,00 – 1.500.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von EUR 12.500,00 konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Vladimir Velickovic auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Pad II (Chute n° 2) im Juni letzten Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 63.375,00.
