This artwork by Vladimir Tatlin achieved an unexpectedly high price at Sothebys in London in November 2007. In the Russian Art and Paintings auction, the work Costume Design For A Life For The Tsar (Ivan Susanin) sold for GBP 70,100.00 (€ 98,158.14) - well above the upper estimate of GBP 40,000.00. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Vladimir Tatlin; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot Nude sold at auction in June 2013 with the realized price of GBP 122,500.00 (€ 142,979.44).

Dieses Kunstwerk von Vladimir Tatlin erzielte im November 2007 bei Sothebys in London einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Russian Art and Paintings wurde die Arbeit Costume Design For A Life For The Tsar (Ivan Susanin) für GBP 70.100,00 (€ 98.158,14) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von GBP 40.000,00. Trotz des guten Ergebnisses ist dies nicht der höchste Zuschlag für ein Kunstwerk von Vladimir Tatlin; den erzielte unter den von uns beobachteten Auktionen die Arbeit Nude im Juni 2013 mit dem Hammerpreis von GBP 122.500,00 (€ 142.979,44).
