Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Rosta Window by Vladimir Mayakovsky was auctioned at Christies in London in November 2011. The price achieved of GBP 1,375.00 (€ 1,605.17) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 1,200.00 – 1,800.00. Admittedly, works by Vladimir Mayakovsky have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work WINDOW ROSTA. Polish front. Freedom is deserved only by those who pick up their rifle in defence. in November 2021 with an auction result of GBP 7,012.50 (€ 8,233.33).
