Auction result well in line with expectations
In November 2018 Sothebys in London held the auction Russian Pictures, which included the work Portrait Of A Lady by Vladimir Borovikovsky. The price achieved of GBP 62,500.00 (€ 70,498.10) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 50,000.00 – 70,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Vladimir Borovikovsky achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Portrait Of Prince Petr Vasilievich Lopukhin (1753-1827), Wearing The Star And Sash Of The Order Of St Andrew, The Star And Cross Of The Order Of St Vladimir, The Order Of Alexander Nevskii, The Order Of Malta And A Diamond Portrait Badge in June 2014 with an auction result of GBP 2,154,500.00 (€ 2,691,944.6
Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Portrait Of Prince Petr Vasilievich Lopukhin (1753-1827), Wearing The Star And Sash Of The Order Of St Andrew, The Star And Cross Of The Order Of St Vladimir, The Order Of Alexander Nevskii, The Order Of Malta And A Diamond Portrait Badge im Juni 2014 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 2.154.500,00 (€ 2.691.944,67).
