Auction result well in line with expectations
In November 2008 Sothebys in London held the auction Russian Paintings, which included the work Portrait Of A Young Girl With A Red Necklace by Vladimir Ivanovich Hau. The price achieved of GBP 9,375.00 (€ 11,335.08) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 8,000.00 – 12,000.00. Other works by Vladimir Ivanovich Hau have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in June 2008 the work Portrait of a lady in a blue gown was auctioned for GBP 16,250.00 (€ 20,540.54).
