In November 2018 Sothebys in London held the auction Russian Pictures, which included the work Portrait Of A Lady by Vladimir Ivanovich Hau. The »bidding war« ended at GBP 9,375.00 (€ 10,574.72), 34% above the upper estimate. Other works by Vladimir Ivanovich Hau have achieved even higher prices, we observed the highest auction result so far of GBP 16,250.00 (€ 20,540.54) in June 2008 for the work Portrait of a lady in a blue gown.
