Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Vladimir Davidovich Baranov-Rossiné could be acquired at Sothebys in London in November 2013 for an unexpectedly low price. In the Russian Art Day Sale auction, the work The Green House On The Square changed hands for GBP 47,500.00 (€ 57,159.89) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of GBP 50,000.00 – 70,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Vladimir Davidovich Baranov-Rossiné achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work The Rhythm (Adam and Eve) in June 2008 with an auction result of GBP 2,729,250.00 (€ 3,449,863.51).
