Upper estimate price exceeded by more than 100%
This artwork by Vittorio Matino achieved an unexpectedly high price at Il Ponte in May 2021. In the Modern and Contemporary Art auction, the work In alto sold for EUR 1,500.00 - well above the upper estimate of EUR 700.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Vittorio Matino - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Lotto di tre opere: a) Biancata firmato e datato Matino 76 (sul retro) acrilico su tela cm 190x45 Eseguito nel 1976 Provenienza: Galleria Lorenzelli, Milano b) Senza titolo acquarello su carta cm 76,5x24,5 Eseguito nel 1, which sold at auction in November 2003 for EUR 5,952.00.
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Vittorio Matino erzielte im Mai 2021 bei Il Ponte einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Modern and Contemporary Art wurde die Arbeit In alto für EUR 1.500,00 versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von EUR 700,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Vittorio Matino mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Lotto di tre opere: a) Biancata firmato e datato Matino 76 (sul retro) acrilico su tela cm 190x45 Eseguito nel 1976 Provenienza: Galleria Lorenzelli, Milano b) Senza titolo acquarello su carta cm 76,5x24,5 Eseguito nel 1 beobachtet, die im November 2003 für EUR 5.952,00 versteigert wurde.
