The work Nereids by Vittorio Caradossi was sold in the European Art Part I auction at Christies in October 2021. The »bidding war« ended at USD 275,000.00 (€ 238,054.02), 38% above the upper estimate. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Vittorio Caradossi - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Italian shooting Stars, which sold at auction in November 2013 for USD 689,000.00 (€ 506,394.24).

Die Arbeit Nereids von Vittorio Caradossi wurde im Oktober 2021 in der Auktion European Art Part I bei Christies versteigert. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von USD 275.000,00 (€ 238.054,02) und damit 38% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Für andere Arbeiten von Vittorio Caradossi mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Italian shooting Stars beobachtet, die im November 2013 für USD 689.000,00 (€ 506.394,24) versteigert wurde.
