Auction result well in line with expectations
In September 2021 Bonhams in London held the auction Travel & Exploration, which included the work A Seated Man With Pipe by Amadeo Preziosi. The price achieved of GBP 1,020.00 (€ 1,186.78) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 800.00 – 1,200.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Amadeo Preziosi achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Album de 79 vues de Malte, Italie, France, Bulgarie, Roumanie et Turquie in March 2004 with an auction result of EUR 228,250.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im September 2021 führte Bonhams in London die Auktion Travel & Exploration durch, in der auch die Arbeit A Seated Man With Pipe von Amadeo Preziosi zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 1.020,00 (€ 1.186,78) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 800,00 – 1.200,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Amadeo Preziosi erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Album de 79 vues de Malte, Italie, France, Bulgarie, Roumanie et Turquie im März 2004 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 228.250,00.
