Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Occhi nello spazio by Virgilio Guidi was sold in the Modern and Contemporary Art auction at Il Ponte in June 2014. The price achieved of EUR 2,600.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 2,200.00 – 2,800.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Virgilio Guidi achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Nudo allo specchio in November 2021 with an auction result of EUR 93,750.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Occhi nello spazio von Virgilio Guidi wurde im Juni 2014 in der Auktion Modern and Contemporary Art bei Il Ponte versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von EUR 2.600,00 lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit EUR 2.200,00 – 2.800,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Virgilio Guidi erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Nudo allo specchio im November 2021 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 93.750,00.
