In June 2014 Il Ponte held the auction Modern and Contemporary Art, which included the work Figura by Virgilio Guidi. The »bidding war« ended at EUR 4,000.00 74% above the upper estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Virgilio Guidi achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Nudo allo specchio in November 2021 with an auction result of EUR 93,750.00.
Oberer Schätzpreis um 74 % übertroffen
Im Juni 2014 führte Il Ponte die Auktion Modern and Contemporary Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Figura von Virgilio Guidi zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von EUR 4.000,00 und damit 74% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Virgilio Guidi erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Nudo allo specchio im November 2021 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 93.750,00.
