Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Vincenzo Volpe could be acquired at Il Ponte in November 2016 for an unexpectedly low price. In the 19th and 20th Century Paintings and Sculptures auction, the work Suonatore di chitarra changed hands for EUR 1,800.00 - missing the lower end of the estimate range of EUR 2,000.00 – 2,500.00. Admittedly, works by Vincenzo Volpe have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Dressing for the Festival in January last year with an auction result of USD 12,600.00 (€ 11,237.96).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Dieses Kunstwerk von Vincenzo Volpe konnte im November 2016 bei Il Ponte für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion 19th and 20th Century Paintings and Sculptures wechselte die Arbeit Suonatore di chitarra für EUR 1.800,00 den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von EUR 2.000,00 – 2.500,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Vincenzo Volpe auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Dressing for the Festival im Januar letzten Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 12.600,00 (€ 11.237,96).
