A top price for Vincenzo Volpe - as previously expected
The work Dressing for the Festival by Vincenzo Volpe was auctioned at Sothebys in New York in January last year. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of USD 12,000.00 – 16,000.00, the actual price achieved of USD 12,600.00 (€ 11,237.96) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Even if this result could not surprise positively, Dressing for the Festival is the most expensive artwork by Vincenzo Volpe that we have observed at auctions so far.

Die Arbeit Dressing for the Festival von Vincenzo Volpe kam im Januar letzten Jahres bei Sothebys in New York zur Auktion. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von USD 12.000,00 – 16.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von USD 12.600,00 (€ 11.237,96) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen.
