The work Bufali nella Campagna Romana, 1883 Paesaggio con Roma sullo sfondo, 1883 by Vincenzo Giovannini was sold in the ARTE DEL XIX SECOLO auction at Christies in Rome in December 2001. The »bidding war« ended at ITL 11,637,500.00 (€ 10,459.50), 16% above the upper estimate. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Vincenzo Giovannini - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Das Forum Romanum, which sold at auction in May 2018 for EUR 35,960.00.

Die Arbeit Bufali nella Campagna Romana, 1883 Paesaggio con Roma sullo sfondo, 1883 von Vincenzo Giovannini wurde im Dezember 2001 in der Auktion ARTE DEL XIX SECOLO bei Christies in Rom versteigert. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von ITL 11.637.500,00 (€ 10.459,50) und damit 16% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Für andere Arbeiten von Vincenzo Giovannini mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Das Forum Romanum beobachtet, die im Mai 2018 für EUR 35.960,00 versteigert wurde.
