Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Music in Titian's studio by Vincenzo Giacomelli was sold in the British and Continental Pictures auction at Christies in London in October 2001. Here, the upper estimate of GBP 3,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for GBP 3,055.00 (€ 4,937.33). However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Vincenzo Giacomelli - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Vittorio Emanuele II e Napoeone III sul C.so Vittorio Emanuele, which sold at auction in November 2015 for EUR 12,000.00.
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Music in Titian's studio von Vincenzo Giacomelli wurde im Oktober 2001 in der Auktion British and Continental Pictures bei Christies in London versteigert. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von GBP 3.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für GBP 3.055,00 (€ 4.937,33) einen neuen Besitzer. Für andere Arbeiten von Vincenzo Giacomelli mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Vittorio Emanuele II e Napoeone III sul C.so Vittorio Emanuele beobachtet, die im November 2015 für EUR 12.000,00 versteigert wurde.
