Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Venice, A View Of The Piazzetta by Vincenzo Chilone was sold in the Old Master & British Paintings Day Sale auction at Sothebys in London in December 2014. The price achieved of GBP 25,000.00 (€ 32,183.29) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 20,000.00 – 30,000.00. Admittedly, works by Vincenzo Chilone have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work The Regatta On The Grand Canal, Venice, Looking Towards The Palazzo Foscari And Palazzo Balbi in April 2016 with an auction result of USD 209,000.00 (€ 182,676.34).

Die Arbeit Venice, A View Of The Piazzetta von Vincenzo Chilone wurde im Dezember 2014 in der Auktion Old Master & British Paintings Day Sale bei Sothebys in London versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 25.000,00 (€ 32.183,29) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 20.000,00 – 30.000,00 angegeben worden.
