The »bidding war« ended at USD 40,000.00 (€ 36,058.78), 33% above the upper estimate. Admittedly, works by Vincenzo Chilone have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work The Regatta On The Grand Canal, Venice, Looking Towards The Palazzo Foscari And Palazzo Balbi in April 2016 with an auction result of USD 209,000.00 (€ 182,676.34).

Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von USD 40.000,00 (€ 36.058,78) und damit 33% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Vincenzo Chilone auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit The Regatta On The Grand Canal, Venice, Looking Towards The Palazzo Foscari And Palazzo Balbi im April 2016 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 209.000,00 (€ 182.676,34).
