The work Venice, A View Along A Canal With Gondolas And Figures At A Fish Market by Vincenzo Chilone was sold in the Master Paintings & Sculpture Day Sale auction at Sothebys in New York in January 2020. The »bidding war« ended at USD 40,000.00 (€ 36,058.78), 33% above the upper estimate. Admittedly, works by Vincenzo Chilone have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work The Regatta On The Grand Canal, Venice, Looking Towards The Palazzo Foscari And Palazzo Balbi in April 2016 with an auction result of USD 209,000.00 (€ 182,676.34).

Die Arbeit Venice, A View Along A Canal With Gondolas And Figures At A Fish Market von Vincenzo Chilone wurde im Januar 2020 in der Auktion Master Paintings & Sculpture Day Sale bei Sothebys in New York versteigert. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von USD 40.000,00 (€ 36.058,78) und damit 33% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Vincenzo Chilone auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit The Regatta On The Grand Canal, Venice, Looking Towards The Palazzo Foscari And Palazzo Balbi im April 2016 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 209.000,00 (€ 182.676,34).
