The work Spanish a Merchant And His Wares by Vicente March was auctioned at Sothebys in London in April 2016. It achieved a price of GBP 30,000.00 (€ 38,348.92), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 50%. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Vicente March; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot El Anticuario Árabe sold at auction in October 2008 with the realized price of EUR 43,000.00.

Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von GBP 30.000,00 (€ 38.348,92) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 50%. Trotz des guten Ergebnisses ist dies nicht der höchste Zuschlag für ein Kunstwerk von Vicente March; den erzielte unter den von uns beobachteten Auktionen die Arbeit El Anticuario Árabe im Oktober 2008 mit dem Hammerpreis von EUR 43.000,00.
