Auction result misses estimated price range
In November this year a collector was able to acquire the work A view of a coast with a fishing boat by a by Vilhelm Petersen for DKK 16,000.00 (€ 2,145.95). This price was achieved in the auction Paintings, furniture and varia at Bruun Rasmussen and was even below the estimate range of DKK 20,000.00 – 25,000.00 set by the auction house. Other works by Vilhelm Petersen have also sold for higher prices; the highest price we have seen at auction so far was achieved in July 2002 by the work A view of Nago at sunset at GBP 2,390.00 (€ 3,812.14).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im November diesen Jahres konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit A view of a coast with a fishing boat by a von Vilhelm Petersen für DKK 16.000,00 (€ 2.145,95) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Paintings, furniture and varia bei Bruun Rasmussen erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von DKK 20.000,00 – 25.000,00. Andere Arbeiten von Vilhelm Petersen wurden auch schon teurer gehandelt; den höchsten Preis, den wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachten konnten, erzielte im Juli 2002 die Arbeit A view of Nago at sunset mit GBP 2.390,00 (€ 3.812,14).
