Auction result misses estimated price range
In November this year a collector was able to acquire the work Exhibition poster from Kunstforeningen, 1963 by Vilhelm Lundstrøm for DKK 2,500.00 (€ 335.30). This price was achieved in the auction Modern art and design at Bruun Rasmussen and was even below the estimate range of DKK 4,000.00 – 6,000.00 set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Vilhelm Lundstrøm achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Standing model in May 2021 with an auction result of SEK 2,550,000.00 (€ 251,779.56).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im November diesen Jahres konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Exhibition poster from Kunstforeningen, 1963 von Vilhelm Lundstrøm für DKK 2.500,00 (€ 335,30) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Modern art and design bei Bruun Rasmussen erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von DKK 4.000,00 – 6.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Vilhelm Lundstrøm erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Standing model im Mai 2021 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von SEK 2.550.000,00 (€ 251.779,56).
