Auction result fails to reach estimate
In December this year a collector was able to acquire the work A view from a garden with a blooming tree and beams leaning against a fence by Vilhelm Kyhn for DKK 3,600.00 (€ 482.95). This price was achieved in the auction Paintings, furniture and varia at Bruun Rasmussen and was even lower than the DKK 6,000.00 estimate set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Vilhelm Kyhn achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work A Young Boy Seated On A Wall, Overlooking Capri in January 2011 with an auction result of USD 42,500.00 (€ 30,987.97).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt den Schätzpreis
Im Dezember diesen Jahres konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit A view from a garden with a blooming tree and beams leaning against a fence von Vilhelm Kyhn für DKK 3.600,00 (€ 482,95) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Paintings, furniture and varia bei Bruun Rasmussen erzielt und lag noch unterhalb des vom Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreises von DKK 6.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Vilhelm Kyhn erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit A Young Boy Seated On A Wall, Overlooking Capri im Januar 2011 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 42.500,00 (€ 30.987,97).
