The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of USD 40,000.00 – 60,000.00, the actual price achieved of USD 42,500.00 (€ 30,987.97) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Even if this result could not surprise positively, A Young Boy Seated On A Wall, Overlooking Capri is the most expensive artwork by Vilhelm Kyhn that we have observed at auctions so far.
